So my friend shuttjng down his system and i just started a new one. Hea got 2 marinepure blcks hes giving to me so my question is. Can i re use them and can i dip them to kill any bad hitchhikers in them...

You could bleach them, rinse realy realy well soak in extra strength Prime and then let them dry out in the sun.

I've moved mine to another tank like a quarantine tank to help speed the cycle. I would think so. Not sure what to do about killing stuff unless you use a coral dip or just maybe with a fresh water soak then rinse with RODI.

How do i rinse it with bleach. So add a bit of bleach ammount to water and let it sit there for say 5-10mins?? Than rinse it off wit water and primer ?

I would stick in in a bucket. Then dump a bunch of bleach in there and let it sit over night. Drain the water out fill it with fresh water, just Tap, let it run for awhile. Then add a bunch of chlorine killer such as seachem Prime and let it soak for a few hours or over night. Then drain it out and let it dry. That is only necessary if there is nasty stuff in your friends tank that you don't want in yours.
