Reusing sponge filter and seachem matrix after copper?

Hello I have a sponge in one Qt tank and a HOB filter with seachem matrix that’s handling ammonia well. After my copper treatment is done ( using cuprisorb to remove ) can I keep using these forms of biological filtration even if they were used with copper ?

I would not especially if coral and inverts are present as it can leach copper into display tank. Keep that for QT tank and use new and seed with liquid bacteria such as MicroBacter XLM

Sorry what I meant is can I still use the media further in the QT tank ? After my 30 days copper im going to use cuprisorb and observe in the same tank. Can I keep using the biological media that was in there during the copper treatment or will it cross contaminate/carry disease when I’m observing. It will not go back into display. I just want to keep using it in my QT after I remove the copper.

High sorry one more thing. If I only do 14 days copper and transfer to another tank for 2 weeks observation can I bring over the bio media from the copper tank? In humble fishes qt post he says do not use anything from treatment tank in the observation tank. I just want to reuse the bio media as I don’t have another one that is seeded.

I agree - do not use anything from treatment tank as you can opotentially infect the display or clean tank

But it’s okay to use the same bio media if I Qt for 30 days and keep it in just one tank without transferring ? That’s where I’m getting confused. Is it because of 14 days vs 30 days ?
