So my quarantine procedure includes some standard Sponge filters for the hang on back aquaclear for the quarantine tank, but for the tank transfer method I use a Sponge filter for an other tank because the other tank (a Rubbermaid) doesn't fit the aquackear. So as you might imagine every quarantine cycle I throw out two or three large round Sponge filters (the kind with a bubble attachment) and a bunch of square aquaclear sponges. What's the risk of Reusing them if I bleach them for a while day and let let them air dry? Can anything survive a day in bleach and then air?

You would just want to let them dry for a week or so before using again. You want to be sure the centers are completely dry before using again.
