Overall I'm pretty happy for what it's worth. The real selling point for me was that there was a full spectrum of lights as apposed to the standard white or blue/red. This meant I could double it up as a small frag light in the sump to grow some lower light corals like Zoa, GSP and Leathers.

It's all controlled via a little IR remote. This is cool but the something I wish there was was a built in timer of some sort. Still having to run it on a tradition timer which is clunky. It also gets VERY hot as there's not active cooling besides the heatsink so don't touch it with the underside of your arm (Like I did) or you'll burn yourself lol.

The Cheato is growing very steady and I'm harvesting my little box once a week. Just added some dragons breath so will see how that grows under the light. For the price, it's a decent buy but there's obviously better options out there but with the space I had and what I wanted to achieve this turned out to be a decent investment.

Looks like a good application. Would like to hear it's long term results for you.

for some reason some time the light doesn’t turn on when the timer is on, then I need to turn on manually, do you know why? I don’t like this as I need to monitor every night and I don’t like it
