Review on 660nm leds

Hi I’m thinking I’m mixing some 660nm LEDs with 450 and 420nm LEDs on a bar.
I don’t want the red to overpower the blues. Does anyone use 660nm LEDs? If so are they noticeable in tank?

Yes they are noticeable, but they also promote algae growth.

Are you thinking about photosynthesis or just more color?

Supplemental 660nm Red grow light + Zoas = ?

Supplemental 660nm Red grow light + Zoas = 1) faster growth with more polyps each month AND more color 2) slower growth AND color bleaches out (pale) 3) no effect, null results 4) other, plz explain 24 red 660nm and 12 blue 460nm lights

You may want to consider the " full spectrum" diodes.
They use a blue pump and a broad red phosphor and not too many of them.

I'd probably label it as " experimental"
