packaging was top-notch. outside temperature at the time of delivery was 90 degrees, but i was home to accept the package immediately. the water temperature felt fine by touch so there was no need to measure it. the anemone was placed inside a plastic bag, which was placed inside a plastic container with the lid taped on. there was zero leakage inside the container.
the seller is operating under the business name of - clutch city coral and there was a $10 charge to cover paypal fees. instead of $150 i ended up paying $160. so that's why his thread title still says $150 (fyi).
the anemone itself arrived in good shape. judging by the size of the column, this should be a pretty good sized specimen. i'm anxious for the white lights to turn on and the nem to fully expand. this will be a better indication if it is a sherman. there was zero lineage trail tracing back to the original guys who cultivated these, but it was a risk i was willing to take.
i will update photos once the nem puckers up.
update (last photo): absolutely bleached and shows zero characteristics of a true sherman. looks like a run-of-the-mill rose.
