so setting up a 20 long, doing big water changes every other day, with hob filter and power head took 3 more fish from me this week.

I just havnt had luck with a sitting quarantine, but in the past I’ve been successful with ttm.

Knowing that, how can I implement a qt with ttm that covers all the diseases?

Can I put them in ttm tank 1 , with 1.0 copper power already in place, followed by general cure on day 2, new tank on day 3, metroplex in day 5, so on and so forth?

Over the first few days, ramp copper up to 2.0, this way by the end they would have been ttm for ich, metro/general cure for brook/Uronema and flukes, and copper for velvet?

I have several times, but I have had zero luck with not changing tanks every 3 days

I was in the same boat with being successful when doing tank changes but not when treating with copper CP or observation.

What I have done which has made all the difference is dosing the tank with copious biospira and doing large daily water changes. (4 gallons in the 20l).

This changed things for me. Also I found that salinity level of 1.018 is a sweet spot of increased oxygen from lower salinity but less stress than hypo.

At 14 days, you change tanks and slowly raise salinity after the transfer while observing.

The biggest improvement in my QT success has been to make sure that a good completely cycled QT that has been up and running for over a month. Going through the complete ammonia-nitrite-nitrate cycle, having a HOB with seasoned foam pad, seasoned ceramic material in a bag in the HOB, having a seasoned bubble foam filter running, a powerhead helping circulate the water. And lastly keeping the number of fish small. I end up doing water changes about once a week. Haven't lost a fish in months running this setup. The only thing I have changed, and it has been for the better, is I stopped using BioSpira and switched to Seachem Stability. It doesn't cycle as fast as BioSpira, but it is much more stable and can adjust to changes better.
