Reviving my jbj nano cube?

Been thinking about reviving my 24 gallon nano cube as a grow out tank. Planning on building a stand and possibly converting it to have a sump... anyone know anything about taking the rim off? Anyone know anything about taking the back wall off? I wanted to make it rimless, take the back wall out, drill the tank, and make my own corner (or center) overflow...
