Rev's 400+ Gallon Basement Inwall

I have 420lbs of sand on the way.....

My 6ft sump from Planet Aquariums! It was a package deal with the tank! ;)

I have a sump stumper that always gets me. It looks like you plan on having a refugium in your sump. Why would you use a foam bubble trap before the return section? Isn't one of the good parts about having an in sump refugium that the bugs get pulled up through the return pump and help feed the tank? Wouldn't the foam keep this from happening?

I am going to have a separate refugium actually.

Getting closer to 1000 posts and still no water [emoji85]

We're talking about the Rev here! He's gonna get the post count record. ;)
Oh and yes I am building a stand for the sump for sure!

Smart man! I wish I could do something similar to this entire build. I hate bending over to get into the sump. Also less head on the return pump. You have so much help and ideas going for you in this forum you created that it is ridiculous. [emoji106]

Hope you ate your Wheaties this morning!

I'm bettin' the UPS/FedEx guy isn't your biggest fan right now :) This means your getting close!

I went out and helped him unload it! He didn't even break a sweat! HA!

I get to start playing with aquascapes now! WOOT!

Thanks and what do y'all think of this plan.

I want to plumb in a few tanks, top off system etc. but also want to get my tank cycling and don't want to rush everything. So the plan is to plum the tank to the sump and get it rolling. Then I can plumb in the rest of the other stuff as I go along.

Anything wrong with that plan?

As long as u know how ur going to get the water to the other tanks then I think ur good.
If U are going to use a manifold make it extra long and cap it this way when it's time to add the other tanks u can shut off the pump cut the pvc add the manifold and then proceed.
Just think ahead so u don't have to do double the work. Cause that means double the money.
