RFA Went into Hiding

Can u try pointing a powerhead at it?? Might be able to make it mad enough to move out...
I thought about that, but unfortunately I don’t think so. It is in such a weird spot it is pretty well shielded from any power head mounted to the glass in any position. :(

What other corals on the rock...can it be rearranged so both are getting a lil light...maybe standing up straight...

Kinda maybe? There’s a monti cap on the top of it and a Duncan on the bottom. The Duncan I can remove, but not the cap. There are also some trash palys barely holding on on the underside that I’d rather not help out.

No if u can adjust the rock so both corals are getting light i would leave it like that.

Ya i cant see the whole rock in the pic...worth a shot though and better than busting it up.

This is the best I can do. The Duncans are encrusted as is the monti. Maybe this will inspire it to move. Fingers crossed!

Is this photo with the lights on or is this with you shining something like a flashlight at it?

Seeing that it is near the glass I'm assuming it's really not in the best and brightest light for it's well being. Not that that is a terrible thing. But maybe why it doesn't come out of it's hiding place too much.

I guessing you didn’t read the thread... This is where I just moved it to since it went under a ledge and stayed there. :)

I read the thread. You said this is where you just moved it to in hopes that it will be better.

I'm asking if in this new position, that is the light that the anemone will get when the tank lights are on? It looks to be completely in a shadow.

It’s an odd angle for the pic. I snapped it in a hurry. It gets strong light there and there’s a lot of flow. Hopefully encouraging it to move.

I've had 5 different anemones and 3 of them have moved to the back of the rocks where I can't see them without peaking in the side of the tank. It's frustrating for me but they seem to be happy.

I’d be disappointed if this one did that but at least it wouldn’t put itself somewhere to die.

Me too. :) It hasn’t gotten the yellow center back, but I’m hoping it will. Incredibly the lashes are turning bright pink. So that’s pretty awesome.
