Rhodactis beyond repair?

This rhodactis has been spewing it’s tentacles from its mouth for the past 3 days or so, and currently some of the flesh around the mouth have also died off. Will it be able to recover/repair, given optimal water conditions?

It may just be taking a big poop. Expelling all contents of its stomach.

DONT bother it. It will have a better chance you not touching it
