When the lights came on this morning I discovered one of my rhodactus mushrooms was eating a live bristle worm. I thought it was interesting so I snapped a few really terrible photos with my phone and thought i'd share them. I can't imagine how the worm wandered into the mushroom's mouth.

NICE!

Before everyone rushes out to buy mushrooms to clean up their "bristle worm problem" I'm sad to report this guy isn't putting much of a dent in the population :)

I just want to know how he tricked him into coming over. I imagine him tucking away a piece of mysis, and when the lights went off he did a little fishing.

That is a beautiful mushroom.... and useful! One of my LPS ate one recently.

That makes me wonder... I'm tempted to collect a dozen or so from the sump and see what all will eat them.
