Hey all, 1st post here. Long time lurker. Anyway, I’ve had my 75 gallon reef going for near a year long and so far it’s been almost as easy as a freshwater tank. I have many corals including tons of mushrooms, softies, LPS, and hardy SPS.
Recently my hairy mushrooms Rhodactus indo have been splitting at a rapid pace which has been abnormal. They’ve been established in the tank for over 5 months and have gone from 2 to 5. Now they have now split into multiple sections and have not healed (it’s been near 2-3weeks) nothing much has changed in their care or placement.

I noticed my tomato clown being hosted by them before the splitting occurred which was a new sight, yet he’s not always in them.

my parameters... Ca: 330-360 Low but stable DKH: 8-9.5 Mg: 1250-1350 salinity: 1.024-1.026 Iodine: few drops every other month (sea chem) probably deficient. Nitrate: 0-10, never detectable Phosphate: don’t know...

Also any recommendations on affordable and reliable test kits? Currently using Sera.

lights in pics have only been on for an hour.
