I have a blue/green ric that ripped off a rock as it fell I am wondering if it would b fine it left a piece behind would that
go into another mushroom

Thoughts tell me yes, that it will grow another. If they are like soft corals, it will grow.

As long as no predators snack on the little piece left behind then i don't see why it wouldn't grow. The bigger the piece left behind, the higher survival rate

as of now the mother Ric has grown twice as big and the piece that left behind is growing into another 1 I'll try to take a picture as soon as I can

Ricodia are very hearty.
I don't know if this is true or not, but someone once said that you can put them in a blender and then pour in back in your tank and they would grow.

My Yuma does that from time to time. It will start pulling away from a spot leaving behind a piece. That piece always turns into another shroom. Ended up with 3 shrooms for the price of one when I first bought it.
