All the information regarding Yuma vs Florida indicates Yuma's only method of asexual reproduction is pedal laceration. And Florida asexually reproduce with binary fission.
I've had the biggest polyp of Ricordea Yuma in the picture since 2009. It has produced all of the other polyps through pedal laceration. Check out the photo below, you can clearly see it has formed two mouths on the original (and largest) polyp. It is a huge polyp, it has been 3-4in across for several years now. It's currently surrounded by its babies, which could be a factor.
