I used reef crystals for a very long time, but I switched over to Aquacraft about 3 months ago because there was a good deal on the boxes at my LFS. I can't really tell a difference honestly. I dose BRS two part using a doser. I'm currently dosing about 110ml of ALK and 85 ml of CAL a day. I also jumped on the Acropower bandwagon about two months ago. I've been dosing 2ml/day of acropower in my 50ish gallon system.

Other than that I keep my hands out of the tank and just watch the colonies get bigger.

I think you'll love the Aqua Craft salt, I've used it and love it but it's not carried up here locally.

say, how are you dosing acro power? doser or manual? I'm tryin to see what would be most effective yet convinient way to dose this. Also do you have to turn off your skimmer when using this product?

I just use a syringe to put in 2mls in the morning. I don't run a skimmer on my system so I'm not sure.
