Hi all I'm really new to this and have been stalking and studying every body,every link possible for the last 6 months!!!
I found my new tank in my mates garage and picked it up for a carton of jacks n coke

it need sum love and a make over to make it look the part!! So with a bit of bog paint and tiles I did it up myself

Once I got that far I started collecting my bits n pieces sumps and pumps auto top up which will be going into the wooden fuel bowser you see in one of the photos

I then got it plumbed up put together and while I was filling it up the base cracked were I had 2 holes drilled for my returns ;( 200 Lts started to **** every were wasn't cool didn't get any photos cos I was to busy flippin my nut ha haa!!so wasn't real happy with the tank because of lil scratches every were so I opted for a new one a lil taller

so now it's 4ftx2.5x2ft or 40 inches x24x30

So now Ive got it filled with fresh water for testing have a lil leak in the plumbing need to fix and put the auto top up together fix the blue backing get the air bubbles out of it so it's all smooth I have 60 kg of live rock to pick up and she'll be all go wahoo

Had a day off and had my big pesky mate come kick me out off bed and give me the hurry on with tank!! Thanks Mr Trav really wouldn't have got this far without ya

Ordered all my test kits and chemicals today fixed the leaks in the plumbing put in my dosing pump just need to clean up the cables paint the wall behind the tank and she'll be almost all go!!

Well yesterday went well!! Had my big buddy Trav giving me the big push ha haa!!
The tank swollowed up 50 kg or a 110 pounds of live rock like it was nothing put most off it in place but theres a few bits that will be moved once I get sum more on Thursday make up 2 Bommies coming out into the front!! There's so many lil ledges poking out should make a awsome coral wall ;D excuse the crappy pics all this is dun with my phone I'll turn pro one say ha haa
