hello everybody,

I just put my first coral in my tank after cycling for a month. It is a single Ricordea FL. Whe the lights are on it is big and bright and healthy looking, however after all night with the lights off, in the morning, it curls on top of its self and sticks up, balancing on the “foot”. It kind of looks light a tree. I have looked but haven’t been able to find anything on this. Is it normal? If. It, what could be the problem?

Thank you

It’s fine. I agree you should put it on the rock work, but corals usually close up at night and when the lights are off.
