So new to Ricordeas in general. Just got one in that got delayed in shipping and he is looking super unhappy from what I can tell. I wanted to get some thoughts to see if this is a normal part of acclimatization or if I should be worried. Parameters are as follows

Nitrate 8ppm
Phosphate. 05ppm
Cal 445ppm
Alk 8.4 dkh
Salinity 35ppt

It may be fine or it might be the end. I can not tell if it is a florida or yuma. Florida are much easier to care for IMO. Yumas seem to randomly melt sometimes with no cause. Just because a Yuma isn't doing well doesn't mean anything is going wrong.

Welcome to the forums,
If your tank has other softies, he'll likely recover.
I have a ricordea Florida with the same colors.
