Ricordea slowly walking away

Hi all, this is my first mushroom! I've had this ricordea for a month and a half and it seems to be growing nicely. However, I notice it's slowly walking away!

I know mushrooms can walk, but is it unhappy? Should I try to move it to a new location or just let it walk? It gets pretty high light (measured at ~80-100 Par at peak intensity) and I'm wondering if it would prefer the shade a bit more since it's moving slowly downward.

Current tank params:
PH - 8.3
Ammonia/nitrites - 0 ppm
Nitrates - 3 ppm
Alkalinity - 9.6 dKH
Calcium - 430 ppm
Magnesium- 1400 ppm

I placed mine where I wanted tried a few places. Every time it walked to the bottom and I just let it go. Now I can’t find it, yet I haven’t moved everything to find it.

Correct me if im wrong but they split by walking and leaving a baby right?

How can I tell if this is making babies or trying to find a new home? Will I actually see mini mushrioms left behind? It's not moving terribly fast

Sorry for the beginner questions but I've never cared for a mushroom before and want to keep this little thing happy

Often they do when there is too much flow or flow directed towards them and when nitrates are elevated

I actually never kept that species so im not fully sure. I think that you will? Not sure

Good to know!

There's a powerhead directed at it but a long distance away. I'll try moving the power head and see if that helps!

Well I can’t believe it my ric walked back. Thought it was a goner I was looking around the tank and spotted it and moved it. Three weeks MIA
