I brought home a beautiful Ricordea Yuma last weekend. I put it at the base of my rockwork, thinking it'd be a good spot without too much light. Flow in this spot was low to medium, and it seemed miserable. Mouth was wide open expelling zooxanthellae and starting to look a little pale. I tried a new spot and same ordeal, thought I was going to lose it. It's mouth was actually open so wide at this point that I could see inside the coral. I decided to put it under the rockwork in partial shade and low flow. Today after work he's looking much happier, mouth is mostly shut now and it's puffed up. Only thing is it's still a slightly pale which is to be expected. Will it bounce back and regain its "pop" over time or is the damage done?

Can you post a picture?
We bring in 1500-2000 pieces every other week and some of them come in like that. Low light, decent flow and just leave it alone. It will usually fix itself
