Ricordea Yumas taking over tank

My Ricordia Yuma has multiplied and taken over at least half of the available landscape in my 40 gallon cube. It's a beautiful coral but it is frequently bothering my zoas and candycanes. I didn't realize it was so prolific and aggressive.
Is there an easy way to restrict them to a certain area?

Nice!! I’ve had this big green one for about 10 months now, it’s split once lol (I think it matters if they are pacific or Atlantic shrooms, one grows quickly and one doesn’t)

the orange/gold has 2 mouths but has only been in the tank about a month, it was really small when I got it.

I have removed over a hundred from my tank, and I STILL have probably 50 in there. Mind you they're small, but you pretty much have to remove them manually.

I take a pair of forceps or sharp tweezers and work them lose from the base. Then, collect them and sell them for $5-10 each!

You can kill them with kalk paste, but you have work at it. They are surprisingly resilient once established.

What has worked for me in the past is to inject distilled white vinegar into the ones you want to knock back (around their margins works best) with a small syringe and needle. It usually doesn’t kill the individual ricordia, but rather causes it to shrink back and have some tissue die. Doing that once or twice per month while allow you to keep them corralled into the general vicinity they’re already in without spreading.

I would take any of them! They are beautiful. The only mushrooms I have that go crazy are red ones. They are amazing. Otherwise I can't seem to get plague proportions of anything...

Thank you all for your responses and suggestions.they are pretty hard to cut off the rock cleanly when they get their feet in those crevices.

i think i would be ok with this problem.
My yuma experience is not the same lol.

Mushrooms are rather easy to cut off a rock.

if want to frag the sections afterwards, put each section on top of a rubble piece, and invert a cup with some flow holes added, should attach itself.
