Just curious, can a piece of food be too big for a coral? I feed LRF reef frenzy tonight and when I sat down to look at the tank the Ricordea had a pretty big piece in its mouth.

Possibly… if the piece of food is to big the coral might not be able to “swallow it” but I’d worry more about how fast the coral can break it down. You don’t want big pieces of food in the coral rotting

I guess I will see what happens. That's the first time I've ever seen a piece that size end up in a corals mouth. I didn't get it out so it is what it is at this point. I will watch out for large pieces like that in the future. Usually my shrimp are right on those bigger pieces.
