I believe these are Ricordias from Vietnam. But I'm kind of ignorant to these types of corals. What is the distinguishing difference between Ricordias and Yumas?

Thanks for the help.

I did run across the following:

The difference in Yumas and Florida ricrdea are polyp thickness ( Yumas are MUCH thicker and less transparent),
the tenticles on Florida R only go up to the mouth and stop leaving an exposed area all around the mouth.
The tenticles on Pacific Yumas go all the way on and around the mouth.
Yumas also have a much more pronounced and thicker base /"foot".

The over all size comparison with a yuma and FLorida r is completely different as well.
Yumas ALWAYS grow in a circular pattern tothe point of total cemitry.
Florida rics grow in circular, oval, hourglass what ever shape they feel like.
Yumas are generaly much much larger than a Florida ricordea as well.
Florida ricordea do get large from time to time but they never stay large, they split. Yumas get large and stay large. They do not split ( at least I have never seen one split).
They reproduce via leaving a little bit of thier foot behind as they move.
Yumas are also much more expensive to buy than Florida ricordea.
Is that pretty much on target?

That is a Yuma, Yumas have the polyp pimples all the way up to the mouth. They are also typically random in size and location on the yuma. It is also a Corallimorpharian not an LPS.

Pretty much ya, what I was trying to say but you beat me too it. Another thing to add is they feel totally different as well. Yumas are more muscular feeling in IMO, and F. Rics are more jelly like.

Sick pick up by the way, the best Yumas I've seen come from Vietnam. Unfortunately, they don't last. Hopefully you can keep them!

Start them out in the shade to start off and over time move them as they strech for light this way they don't get photoshock.
