Riders on Chaeto algae

Hi all,
Got a bunch of chaeto today. While rinsing it with SW noticed a bunch of amphipods but also these little white things (see picture). I believe they may be vermetids although they may be too small to tell.

I would like to keep the chaeto and the pods, but I am concern about infesting my system with vermetids. I could go and inspect the chaeto to remove as much as I can, but don't know if that is enough. Any suggestions?

I was wandering the same thing. My buddy needs to trim his chaeto and didn’t want to introduce anything. I was wandering if I should wash it also, but I do want his pods
