Right heater and placement!!

I need some help finding the right heater and placement in my aquatop 24g that's not going to be in the front of the tank? Don't want to hurt the fish!

Favorite heater for 20 gallon nano

As some know I have a sumpless nano 22 gallon build and I have a aqueon preset heater that I can use but curious if anyone has any other suggestions that is not big. I will be running an apex as well.
