I really have no idea! I'm torn in all directions. Thankfully I still have time to think about it. I've always loved tangs but I know my tank isn't large enough for them. I've always wanted a lion fish

I just Joined this site and starting this week i have decided to make my very first Salt water Reef tank most of the stuff that u have used so far i have started to price out so im really really intersted as our two tanks evolve how they look.. I will have a 65Gallon by the way!! Cant wait to see the rest of ur building process

Thanks man! You're gonna love this hobby! I've been outa it for 10 years and everything seemed so foreign to me when I got back into it. Also good luck. Everyone here is out to help. Get some photos uploaded so we can see!

Thanks! I love the way rimless looks. Just worried about my two curious cats. lol I've not gotten my live rock yet. I was researching dry and live but ultimately came to the decision to buy all live. I'll be buying it month end I hope. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have heard maybe use half alive and half dry might help with cost effectiveness because i was told that the bacteria and stuff on the rocks that are alive will just form on the rocks that arent alive over time. if anyone has any right or wrong input let me know what that might be so i can learn..

That's right. Dry rock is about 1/4 the price of live. Idk. Something about starting off a tank with all legit live rock sounds more appealing to me. This is a topic though I know everyone has a different opinion on lol

Good. Im trying to not break every aspect of my pocket to start slow and make this hobby not just kill my wallet as i make my very first tank. So just wanted to make sure that there wasnt something that i was told wrong about.
