Rimless expansion

Has anyone seen the 3 plant tanks joined together at Petco? I like that idea of the waterfall look

I will have the drain on the cube up high so it drains into the shallow and have the return pump hooked to the cube.

That should work just fine. I know Steve Tyree used to use a cascading system and he would try to integrate different "biotopes" into each tank. You could do the same with your idea and it would be quite unique and make for an interesting, artistic, aquarium setup. Be sure an update us when you build your system.

Yes that's my goal to integrate two different biotypes yet only one system. Will surely do a build threat on this one
