rimless tank blowout?

hey reefers im looking for feedback from ppl that have had rimless tanks for a decade ever hear of any blowouts? im shopping for a new tank and have always had rimmed…any feedback is welcomed!! thanks guys

If you go with Red Sea, you only need to wait 2 or 3 years.

In my case it's a sample size of only one. Rimless frag tank. Sold it recently after 8 years - no signs of any problems.

Personally I wouldn’t buy a long term tank that isn’t rimmed, not only because I prefer the aesthetic value (I always hated the messy waterline on rimless) but also because of structural integrity.

yeah iv been hearing horror stories of whole shop blowouts - im looking to have it 20 plus years hopefully (il get it rimmed!
