Just curious, since I've heard of say Aqueon/Marineland leaking a fair bit. Any of you buy them, and add extra silicone to play it safe?

I have a 75g aqueon for almost a year and no problems

I purchased a Marineland 75 gallon when I got back into the hobby. Tank worked fine for what it was. Your best bet is to always leak test when possible because any tank has the potential to leak!

I think most of the leak issues was the deep dimension series, pretty sure they stopped making that series

i had 125, 75 and still have a 55 by both Aqueon and Marineland. NP.

I looked at probably 4 or 5 different tanks when i bought my 75 aqueon. Lets just say, at least 2 of them had questionable assembly. The silicone was poor in some places and the panel alignment was bad.

agreed. "you get what you pay for" here lol. but tbh.. i nvr had a leak issue.
