Rinse tank after acrylic polishing?

After hand polishing my 240, do I need to rinse any of the dust or residue that may be left before I fill it up and switch over my livestock? Polish was novus 2. Thanks

I used a spray bottle and wiped it down with water and a clean rag.

i would... i woudlnt want acrylic dust in the water column that is filtering threw the fishes gills.....
