Rinsing carbon

Hi

I about to add a carbon reactor to my sump.
A nyos torq reactor.
Good ideas on how to best rinse the carbon?
If I just let it run in a bucket, any dust will just be circulated.
Can I just put it in af mesh bag/mesh filter sock and wash it before adding it to the reactor?

I use rox 0.8 and I do not rinse it.
I just put it in my reactor and put some floss over it and call it good.
Never had an issue.

I just put it in a mesh bag. i used to rinse it under tap water then put it in filter, now I just put it in the filter, no issue's

I did a good rinse, and added some floss on top. Wonder why I didn't think of using floss. Thanks!
