Rinsing dry aragonite sand

I'm planning to use dry aragonite sand along with dry rock from Marco rocks for my 40g build. The sand needs to be rinsed before i put it in the tank. It's about 30-40lbs. What's the best way to do this?

I find it is easiest to do outside with a bucket and hose. Fill the bucket part way (you need to be able to stir down to the bottom) with the substrate, then stick the hose in, running the water until it runs clear, then stir and repeat the process. If you are feeling ambitious, continually stirring would probably yield the best results.
