rinsing filter cartridges with tap water

Ive been rinsing my marine land filter cartridges in ro water but it’s getting really tedious to make ro water every time, so can i just rinse it with tap water? Also i have pur water filter that I rinse all my stuff with can i use that?

Just looked it up and it says replacing is “dry and effortless”. I don’t think you have to rinse.

I did….forever….no issues.
Take out as much of the tap water as possible.

Are you saying you’re rinsing it after it’s been used? Or when you take it new out of the box?

I have always rinsed my filter cartridges in tap water. I've never even bothered to remove any of it after. I pull it out, blast it clean and right back in.

@Glenner’sreef , I reuse the cartridges in my Bio-Cube for several weeks. I rinse them out every few days to keep the water flowing properly.

As a side comment that applies to this, The canisters I have been running on my tanks all along, have been washed in tap water and put directly back in service with no further treatment of any kind. Again, Pull it off, blast it clean, right back online.
