Rinsing salt off socks before laundry?

Does anyone think it's necessary to get salt off the filter socks prior to washing? This would prevent corrosion of the washer obviously if there was plain steel parts in there. What are your thoughts?

The amount of salt would be minimal, worse goes into my washer.

Remember too that mine and I guess most washing machines do 3 rinses at the end of the wash.

Like using a water softener. Low amount emitted should have no effect
