So @brandon429 .. you have given me the advice for a rip clean. I opted out... i can not defeat this algea problem, plus i am having a loss of cyphastrea along with algea build up on my acans. I am defeated. I accept your rip clean. The main questions i have are,
Do i remove the frags that are glued to the rocks? None have encrusted.
Can i add new sand? Or better to rinse? I have about 4 lbs of live sand just sitting in a bucket with salt water that is a month old.
Advice on keeping fish and inverts healthy during their time in a bucket? Anemones, shrimp, crabs, urchin.
Can this be accomplished in a single day?
