Posted on Saturday night worried that something was wrong with one of my Orange storm Clown’s.

He was breathing heavily and struggling to swim.

He was eating fine and swimming around per usual Sunday and Monday.

Today I got home from work and he was on the sand bed breathing heavily and not moving.

After consulting my LFS over the phone i freshwater dipped him for 5 min using the methods often posted on R2R.

He showed no interest in eating the usual pellets so I ran out to buy brine shrimp and tried that - to no avail.

At this point I figured the outcome was not looking positive based on the stress induced by the FW dip. On top of his already present struggle. :(

My LFS warned that if I wasn’t able to get him to eat, he probably didn’t have much of a chance.

Unfortunately, Enzo didn’t make it.

Sad night over here, felt helpless as I watched my little fella slip away.

RIP Enzo, you’ll be missed.

Tested before the dip. Everything was in check.

going to swap out my filter socks so all the brine that went uneaten doesn’t cause any spikes.

thank you for the recommendation
