Ha, I backed you on that post, and I thought these would come in handy

Absolutely! As you can see I said take it down, she wanted start a "Facebook war" with me instead?

Woow, the nerves she argues with you about your own pic.
Create a new FB page with just her pics and she does it for the money ;)

What an insult to steal your photo and when called out they ask if you want to buy it
What kind of person would do that? She asked me more than once. Absolutely amazing.

If I told you the number of people that take my pictures to sell stuff.... It really sucks. Not just because I took the time and effort to learn how to take pictures but because someone is getting completely ripped on pieces and then they think the pictures were doctored or something. Ive had people use some zoa images that were from several years back to sell frags and I have several people on craigslist that have used my photos to try and sell their stuff...WYSIWYG. Its so frustrating and most social media websites dont care. Thats why I started posting my watermark on everything thats on instagram/facebook

It's annoying because like you said people aren't getting what's in the photo. I watermark all of my photos besides what's used on my site as a design. Everything else has a watermark in the middle because I was tired of people selling coral from my photos that I knew for a fact they didn't have.
It's ripping off hobbyist that trust in sellers. I watermark to protect hobbyist.

I just posted: scammers... steals pics from other coral vendors and potrays them as their own. ITS NOT WYSIWYG.
Awesome! Honestly I hate getting caught up in this stuf, I rarely do. I asked her to remove it and she basically bragged that she had already sold two of them, how wrong I was, asked if I wanted a Facebook war and started calling me names. She actually said I should have asked if she had the coral first and it should be a lesson learned for me. Are you kidding!! I should have asked if she has the coral from a picture that was taken years back from MY site? WOW

I totally agree with you. I ONLY buy coral from vendors on R2R. I take you guys very personal, because thats how ive been treated. I almost was scammed last night on an inferno nem, and mdbannister saved the day. Thanks to Ben at BSA, I did get my inferno. But im very tired of ppl trying to rip us reefers off, and by god IM NOT gonna stand by and watch it happen.

Ha! She posted that she will have a pic up in the morning. I guess she has all night to steal someone else's pic...
I just saw that. I look forward to seeing what it really looks like.

Sorry bud, unfortunately the world is full of people who will do what ever they can to get ahead. Keep playing by the rules, the only way to change the world is to change yourself. Its nice having reputable vendors like yourself. Goodluck!

That is Facebook for ya. There is a reason some people only sell on there and never come on R2R. They scam, cheat, and fool people left and right with "raffles".
I'm just learning the Facebook way. It's amazing and concerning to see such poor business ethics taking place.

FWIW, any photograph is automatically copyrighted to the photographer. Legally, there's no need to "claim" it if you're the photographer; you already have that protection.

I had a vendor ( was a sponsor here for a while ) steal one of my pictures off zoaid to use to sell corals. I emailed them 7-8 times over a 1-1/2 year period to remove the picture.
I realize I wasn't a business with a reputation to protect, but it still ticked me off.
Finally with the help of admin here got the picture removed.

FWIW, if they would have just asked to use the picture in the first place, I would have considered it.
