Rising Salinity levels, relation to Alkalinity & Calcium

So.. I have noticed today a rise in Salinity in my reef from SG 1.025 to 1.026.

Of course I took action and corrected the issue.

Just looking for confirmation of my belief that increased salinity levels equates to higher alkalinity & Calcium levels.
 
I don't know the phd answer to this, however, since I started calibrating my refractor each time before use everything else clicked into gear and has stayed there.

This in relation to keeping your big 3 pretty stable. I commented on this very thing in the one thing that improved your reef thread, it made all the difference to eliminate even the smallest of swings in SG.
