Risky to buy a Vertex 180i?

The guy building my sump has a Vertex 180i for a decent(?) price. I see quite a few users seeking parts; would it be risky to go with this skimmer?

Bought a used one for my build recently, Great skimmer. Pretty plenty full out there used still, hoping it's not a problem.

I bought mine from brs right as vertex went under for a very good price and I don't regret it at all. Basically just make sure you don't break the pump and you'll be good. It was recommended to me not to remove the impeller so that is what I've been doing. When I clean it I just let the pump soak in a citric acid bath.
