ritter6788's 75 gallon sps

Thanks hung and TruRacr. :)

Water change, sump vacuum, clean powerheads, refill 2 part containers....

Acros are about to go back in! No signs of them for the last month in the frag tank. I'm going to start dipping and putting them back soon.

Sounds like you have been busy. It is also great news about the pending acro repopulation effort. I wish you the best of luck with that process. I hope you are done with these vile pests.

Oh yeah, we need more pics once the acros are moved back in.

What a bounce back Gabe!!! Looking pretty..!

Thank you both.

Here's the new FTS with Acros back in. Looks like I had a bit of alk burn in the frag tank while I was out of town. Some of the Acros have some tissue recession at the tips. I clipped the dead tips off and aside from a bit of color loss they look good. The PE is outstanding which means to me the pests are gone. I didn't get one AEFW in the dips going from the frag tank to the display and I found no sign of eggs. The Acros are a little rough from being in a frag tank with not so stable parameters and dosing. I haven't seen any signs of red bugs either. I'm enjoying my tank again and hopefully this is the first photo of the better than ever, pest free comeback. I'll get some individual coral shots when they heal up a bit but I'm getting some good growth and color already. I have a pink/green Acro that hasn't grown much for me in a couple years but already is showing signs of fast growth.

Looks good Gabe, Glad you got things back on track.

Thanks everyone!

Since the QT and the dips I haven't seen a sign of AEFW or Red Bugs. I need to take new individual pics but the frags I put back in have amazing growth, color, PE. I have frags that I've had for years that grow very slow and only encrust are showing new branching growth and amazing PE.

My advice to anyone else with AEFW or redbugs, don't wait it out or try to live with it. I wasted so much time basting and attempting to live with red bugs and AEFW. If you have them, get rid of them now. I wish I would have done this a long time ago. The Acros are so much healthier looking now.

Glad everything Is back on track bud.

Looking great Gabe, glad everything is getting back to the DT!

Yes sir that Is starting to look real nice. Keep us posted.
