I have have had a rittri anemone now for about a month and he started walking up the side of the tank to the point where he's starting to come out of the water. Is this normal? Is there something wrong I'm not aware of? Also my black and white clown fish are not hosting on him? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How high above the tank are they? Rittri are kind of difficult to maintain and are wanderer's, even with good light. Most of the time it's looking for the proper light and water flow. Let him do his thing and see if he'll settle in after a while.

Is it OK to have him with a little bit out of water? Should I move him? Or just let him be?

I have one that i placed directly under a chinese black box fixture. Its also right in front of my return nozzles. Hasn't moved yet. You want to give it as much light and random flow as possible. If it feel another rock or the wall higher than itself it till try to migrate. I have mine on a bommie i made specifically for it. It cannot feel the side or back glass of the aquarium and is on the highest rock in the tank.

+1 to lightnings post. If they can feel thats theres something higher they will move. Make sure all power heads are covered very tightly as they tend to be very good at getting into them. Mine before I went to leds sat directly under a 250w MH.

Best to keep them on a island/bommie like lightning has their's. Really good random flow with the occasional blast is great( vortech on reef crest/ jebao on else mode)
