I pulled the trigger on a reef keeper lite the other day. I have plans for auto top off, heater, and return pump for now but have a question. The only thing I have not picked up yet is a power head or wave maker for internal flow. How does the RKL with powerhead compare to the jebao wave maker? Should i just pick up a pair of powerhead a for the RKL to control or get the Jebao?

I like my jebao. However I use the apc module and a dci to control them. Works great.

I have a wp 40 in my 210 and it does a fair job of moving water end to end and top to bottom of the tank. Once you get it adjusted to create a standing wave that works with the length of the tank you'll get a nice back and forth flow. I plan on stepping up to the wp 60 when the 40 wears out. For now it's been running for a year and the only issue has been I had to reset it after an extended power outage. I considered a gyre but after several people said they had to repair their's after a snail crawled into them I decided the Jabeo was the best choice for me.
