How many folks are using the ReefKeeper Lite? Looking for whether I should move my AC3 out for my new RKL that's coming in soon.

Love mine. I have the RKL-L3 with a MLC moonlight controller and its fantastic. Got it from Corals Mania here on R2R and they beat everyones deals.

Thanks.

So other than just to use the timer control, what do you use yours for?

I just got mine a couple days ago (L1) - I'm only using it for lighting (MH, PC Actinics, LED Moonlights) and an Azoo fan - have temp setpoint to kick the fan on if it gets too hot. I really like it, before I had powerstrips and lamp timers, a complete mess. I like that it's expandable and I'm sure I'll eventually get another PC-4 and hook up my pumps and other devices.

I monitor and control the pH in my calcium reactor, control the MH and VHO lights as well as alarm and shut them off if case of overheating, control the moonlights on a Lunar Cycle, control my heater and fans for heating and cooling based on tank temperature, control the return pump and have both it, the closed loop pump and powerheads on standby mode so I can shut them off for spot feeding, control powerheads on a wavemaker function, and other things I can't even remember right now. I also plan to use the switched contacts to turn a light on under the stand when I open the cabinet doors but those could also be used with their auto topoff system which I already have so didn't need.

You can also buy the RKL and upgrade to the RKE when you outgrow the RKL. That is one of the best things about the new line of DA stuff. It is all interchangeable and expandable. With the SL2 out now and the Tunze control module on the way, the system just keeps getting better.
