I've wanted a 90 gallon rimless ever since I've been in the hobby which has been on and off for like 6 years ... So I finally got one on my birthday which was the 29th of December. I called around everywhere and did my research and ended up ordering it from glass cages , I've heard good and bad things about them but more good then bad and they are the number 1 go to place for custom tanks in the U.S. . So here's the beginning of my thread.

Nice tank.I like the over flow and plumbing. Looks like you had lots of hard work in tiling your stand. Looks great, whats your plans for doors?

Thanks man right now im actually running my lights at about 70 percent in radiant but I went in and turned reds and greens down .

I haven't really figured it out yet really I dont know really was thinking of smoked acrylic or stained glass but honestly system is super quite .

I'm curious to why you say sch 80 is a "whole lot better"?

I like the look of your stand. I've only seen one other stand with rock/tive vs wood and it was from a local member who owns a granite shop. haha! so, I'm sure he has some good scraps to work with!

I really like the dimension of that tank. I love the shallow deep tanks a lot and rimless to boot with, what looks like a c2c with beananim?

The other only person I know which is where I got my inspiration from is diesel. The only reason why I say 80 is better because to me it just looks better lol I guess but it does handle more psi then regular sch 40 white pvc , I just wanted to go with the darker stuff would have used black but I think they only make it in Canada and I didnt want it to be tacky looking by spray painting it you know. And its not really a coast to coast because my returns are actually on the side of my overflow , I didnt want too to have returns above the surface of the tank ...

Fair enough, I guess with an open system, you don't "need" the extra PSI, that's why I asked. I however know the desire to have a system look nice and the dark grey looks a lot better than white! I see now, yeah, not true c2c, but close. haha! Still looks great!!
