My rlss dc6i skimmer pump (dc6000) impeller broke and waveline doesn't make them any more apparently.

Can i put a different pump rated at 1500G? And witch one would you recommend getting?

Need to fix asap running tank without skimmer. Thanx

Have you checked eBay for a replacement impeller for that pump? Often they are still available there. Good luck!

Nothing that matches. Thanx

I may be mistaken but I thought that the Jebao DC6000 used the same impeller as the Waveline DC6000 gen 1 which both have an open impeller, whereas the Waveline DC6000 gen 2 has a closed impeller. I can't tell from the picture because the whole impeller isn't showing, but if you have the gen 1 then replacing with the Jebao DC6000 impeller may be an option.

Although it may not be the best option, you may also consider just replacing with an entire Jebao DC6000 pump because even with the difference on the internals between the gen 1/gen 1 Waveline I think the footprint stayed the same. Good luck!

Looks like this. Soo jebao would be good replacement?

Thanks for the picture - that is the needle wheel impeller. The Jebao DC6000s that seem to be available right now are return pumps with the vane impellers as opposed to the ones that have the venturi and needle wheel.

There are so many jebao dc pumps, can you show me witch one is the most relevant to the one i have. I just found a impeller just need the pump now. Like a link or pic. Thanx

I have an RLSS skimmer with a dying dc6000 pump as well. In my case the controller seems to be the problem as it only works at the first couple of speeds. I have been trying to find a replacement pump or controller and so far have only come across this as a possible option:

I was able to get an extra pump but no controller so if anyone has an old controller I would love to buy it. If not I am cutting a controller apart from a 50 watt Jebao and soldering my pig-tails to it, they changed the connectors just enough you cannot just plug and ply a new controller. LMK if anyone has the old controller please

It turned out that my controller just has a bad power supply in the end. Might want to double check it is still good before you hack it up.

pump ran great after a new controller, found probably the very last one in the U S but kept the old controller to steal the pig tails off
