RMS MOUNT to close to water??

Hello, ive been using the radion but Im wondering if you guys think the RMS mount makes the light to close to the water, considering that it is a rimless tank. picture of my earlier build ..

Usually on a newer build I like to start around 10-12. Then 8 would be the lowest I would go. A lot of the also depends on how deep you tank is, what you want to keep, and which radion

I've got 3 gen 4 on a 80g rimless at45% Intensity. I've been thinking of lowering it to35% because of this reason. My coral is happy but I think they aren't as bright
