RO auto flush not stopping?!?

I installed a RO auto flush unit and since I’ve installed it despite the ro unit not running it continues to flush every so often throughout the day. What is wrong with it?
An auto flush will kick on when the pressure drops. You may have a small leak somewhere, possibly the auto shut off. Is this connected to a drinking water system as well? I ask as if there’s a tank it could be low on pressure, they can be pumped back up with a bicycle pump.

no I only have it routed to a RO Reservoir with a tunze RO water controller. Should I just start taking it apart piece by piece to see if there's anything that's causing the pressure drop?

I would isolate the ro container by closing the ro output with a valve if possible. This would eliminate a float valve issue. If the ro still flushes for a second or two every now and then, with no liquid able to escape anywhere then it is most likely the auto shut off valve. The valve can be taken apart, cleansed and put back together although I’ve had mixed results with that. They are around $10 on Amazon prime.
