Hi all, I recently set up a 32g Biocube aquarium. Filled initially with distilled water. I purchased a 50 gpd RO Buddy with the DI cartridge. I haven't hooked it up yet, but was curious how long they take to make around 3 gallons of water. I plan on doing 3 gallon water changes a week (due to live rock and substrate, my tank took about 25 gallons of water to fill, so 3 gallons is more than 10% weekly). I know these are slower units, and the media is more expensive, but since I'll be doing such a small amount of water, it should be fine. Just wondered about how long it should take (we're on a well, and water pressure is only mediocre). At the 50gpd rating, it should be 1.5 hours, but I suspect it'll take longer based on posts I've seen.
