I have a 3 stage+di system. I have a small tank so I didn't invest in a big filter at this time. Does anyone know if this system can, or should be backflushed?

A back flush kit is not included but you can add one. You should flush the carbon and membrane before use.

BRS has a kit as does spectrapure and many other Vendors. I really like the BRS ones because they look really clean so they are the one's I would go with. Make sure to match the flow restrictor size to the one that comes with the system. I think the aquatic life ship with a 600ml
